Some of you are thinking that we are kidding,but we are not.Images of Blackberry Bold 9980 is exposed and you can see them below.Recently, Blackberry has launched Bold 9900,9930 and now Bold 9980 is leaked.These images are leaked by a Chinese site MaxPDA.So,let’s hope that it’s not a fake.
So,on the top front you can see that PROCEEDING is written,indicating that this device will be launched in 2012.This device is running on Blackberry’s OS 7.RIM has not exposed any thing about this device when they have announced that 7 new OS 7 phones are coming.Who cares? Anyway,Blackberry Bold 9980(for now) has a very unique design, we have not seen any phone of such design.Phone seems to be slim,slimmer than iPhone4? We think so.Blackberry Bold 9980 is going to be a touch and type device just like Bold 9900 and 9930.
This phone is going to have connectivity features like Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,USB port, a 3.5mm AV jack,NFC and may be HDMI port as well.On the back of the device there will be a 8 megapixel camera which will be capable of shooting 1080p HD videos and a flash is also present on the back.It looks like the back panel of this device is made up of leather and front is made up of metal.We can say that this device has a solid unibody construction and it will feel solid when you will place this device in your hand.
Blackberry phones are famous for their QWERTY keyboards and this phone’s QWERTY keyboard has unique keys.This is an awesome keyboard,may be some of you do not like it,that’s another thing but we can say that it is Blackberry’s next generation phone and hope that in near future we will get it’s confirmed specs.Still,this is the next generation phone which is going to be launched next year and there is much more to know and unveil,stay tuned for that and have a look at the images below.
